2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Tice Purpura is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll Senior HS. Recorded a 7.66 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with some physicality proportioned throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked out from the infield. Deliberate actions with longer transfers. Intent at release and can work out in front and to his left nicely. Arm strength has some carry with throws up to 82 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and faster hands. Gets the top hand over and clears the lower half. Strong wrists with a power oriented approach and had a couple of home runs in BP. Great student. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase TP List.
