Chase ODell is a 2020 SS/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from St. Marys City, MD who attends Great Mills. Medium frame with narrow shoulders and room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, took reps in the infield sitting back on the baseball and fielding it out in front, hands play the baseball well with a clean funnel into body, shuffles into release with developing footwork, average arm strength currently topping out at 75 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a narrow base and a low hand set, toe tap trigger into his stride to begin swing, inside and tight hand path getting downhill frequently, developing bat speed with some inconsistencies to bat path, will improve pop off of the barrel with additional strength.
