Michael Dinardo is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Wynantskill, NY who attends Troy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a projectable build with some present strength on build. Strong runner, posted a 6.64 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front with two hands, aggressive on the charge and works through the ball, full arm action through the back but gets on top of throws, effort on release, remained accurate to the plate. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, medium stride coming down the mound while working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, has some life and cutting action to it. Will continue to refine a consistent release point. Curveball worked around the zone with 11-5 shape up to 68 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; gets closed moving into contact with front side. Stays short to the ball with hands, upper body dominant swing, occasionally opens front side early at contact. Creates present bat speed through the zone, looks to lift at point of contact, showed best swings in live action while staying aggressive while displaying the aiblity to go with the pitch to all fields. Excellent student. Named to New England Indoor Top Prospect List.
