John Clinkenbeard is a 2024 3B/RHP, SS, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Ben Lomond, CA who attends San Lorenzo Valley. Taller physical and athletic frame. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Some momentum to and through the baseball in the outfield with a clean transition and solid above average arm strength. In the infield shows the athleticism, quick footwork laterally, clean glove actions and a quick release with solid average arm strength which plays up with the quick release. At the plate hits from a wider base and simple load stride mechanics. Combination of strength and quickness in his swing. Stays balanced and lets his hands fly through the zone and impact the baseball with with some pop to all fields. Handled the barrel well. On the mound showed drop and drive mechanics with a mid 70's fastball and low 70's slider with some late bite to it. High effort on the mound. Great student.
