Carter Flood is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Anthem, AZ who attends Boulder Creek. Large frame with athletic build, ran 60 yard dash in 7.67 seconds. Hits from open stance with high hands and back elbow, shorter to the ball with long finish, gets barrel moving uphill, has strength in hands, showed approach back through the middle with solid impact. Primary catcher, gains ground well out of crouch with some explosion to lower half, shows good throwing skills in game, quick transfer, clocked up to 74 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, showed solid hand actions, moves well, clocked up to 77 mph on throws across. Very good student.
