Kade Trichel is a 2020 3B/ with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Ouachita Christian. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork while surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through exchange well. Flashed developing range to each side and generated softer carry across the infield at released, topped at 70 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from behind the plate. Balanced stance and gained ground while working out of crouched. Clean exchanges and released from a taller front side position. Loose arm action and generated some on line carry topping at 68 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.22. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, open stance. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Deep hand load and works to baseball on a loose, extended path. Barrel came through the zone on a line drive plane and employed a mid field to pull side approach. Flashed the ability to turn bat head to contact flashed some bat speed through the zone. Very good student. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition.
