Anthony Turner is a 2021 LHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. Medium athletic build with long arms and legs. Easy low effort delivery with a high leg lift start, compact tight arm circle in back going to a high 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front on release. Steady upper 70's fastball, mostly straight, showed the ability to work to both sides of the plate effectively, creates ground ball contact. Sweeping curveball with 2/8 shape, creates good spin and developing command and feel for the strike zone with the pitch. Should continue to add velocity as he gets more physically mature. Left handed hitter, high hand start with a lift and replace leg lift trigger, smooth swing with developing bat speed. Good student.
