Shawn Craig is a 2017 3B/C with a 5-7 210 lb. frame from Ridgefield, WA who attends Columbia River HS. Medium frame with strong, sturdy present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Does a very good job shifting weight into swing, uses lower half and torques hips, which allows for strength to play successfully in swing. Compact hand path with clean stroke, good bat speed with loose hands. Showed some lift in swing but mostly on line drive plane, drove the ball well to the pull field with overall quality jump off the barrel. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows good footwork with the ability to stay low throughout actions. Shows quick release with solid arm strength, able to throw on the run and from multiple arm slots with accuracy across the diamond. Clocked up to 76 MPH.
