Caleb Jackson is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Cheektowaga, NY who attends Canisius. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, chest high hand set with a compact leg lift into body; works to a high three-quarters release point, tends to fall towards glove side with momentum. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, showed arm strength and will continue to develop a consistent release point, more velocity to unlock with full utilization of lower half. Full arm swing through the back, low spin rates on fastball and changeup at 66 mph, flashed a breaker at 61 mph. Fields the ball out front with two hands at first base, gathers on backside with a double tap release, creates energy into release and shows accuracy on throws, direct footwork to the baseball. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hover leg lift trigger moving into contact. Shows the makings of hand quickness in swing, full path through the zone with a longer one handed finish through point of contact. Creates line drives to the pull side and middle of field, repeats swing well and shows some strength. Excellent student.
