Drake DeJaynes is a 2026 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Oneida, IL who attends ROWVA. Medium size, slender frame. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with some athletic movements in his drop and drive delivery. Showed two pitches out of a three-quarter arm slot with a mid 70's fastball that topped out at 78 and was located well to both sides of the plate. Showed developing feel for a slider that should be a usable off speed pitch. Also worked out in the infield, showing footwork direct to the baseball, developing glove actions and the ability to make the routine play with a solid average throwing arm across. Hit from a slightly open stance, has some hand speed to the swing with an uphill bath and steep vertical bat angle through the zone, some developing feel for consistently getting on time and to the barrel. Excellent student.
