Jace Stever is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-7 128 lb. frame from Mount Carmel, PA who attends Mount Carmel Area. Primary left-handed pitcher with a medium frame and slender build. Slow and deliberate windup with a belt-high leg lift and full arm swing to a high 3/4 slot release. Some sinking action to the fastball up to 71 mph (1975 RPM) and 1-7 shape breaking ball at 63 mph (2021 RPM). Gets around the fastball at times for natural cut action which paired with the changeup at 64 mph (1663 RPM). Has a feel to spin a breaking ball with depth around the zone. Secondary outfielder with deliberate footwork to a clean gather and throws to the bases at 66 mph. Left-handed hitter with low hands and a double toe-tap trigger. Level swing path through the zone with developing timing to impact. Good student.
