Brian Badalamenti is a 2027 C/1B with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Moore Catholic. Works from a large frame with a strong lower-half. Primary catcher, starts in a narrow squared stance. Gains a bit of ground on the gather. Has some intriguing arm speed. Recorded arm strength up to 73 mph with a pop time of 2.00 sec. Secondary first baseman, has some quickness in the feet and arm. Moved well laterally and made accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength up to 79 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilized a toe-tap trigger for timing and worked into a lofted stroke. Has quick hands with the ability to work the entire field. Creates good strength at impact. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran an 8.14 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
