Maxwell Dunn is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Milton, MA. Larger framed primary third baseman with present lower half strength and plenty of projection remaining. Displayed clean funnel out in front to field, some lateral range to both sides and clean exchanges into the throwing process. Corner profile with good reactions and ability to make plays to both his backhand and glove side, exhibits slightly uphill movements to throw and recorded developing arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a a narrow, bent-knee stance with an even hand set and hover trigger for timing. Intent based swing with rotational lower half movements, quickness to his hands and some barrel whip. Exhibits slightly uphill swing plane, shows good feel for the barrel and garners plenty of extension out in front. Whole field approach with gap-to-gap power potential that will continue to expand with proper swing adjustments. Developing, young prospect with upside on both sides of the ball. Very Good Student.
