Jorden Castillo is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Neuqua Valley. He has a medium frame with a thicker build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Primary shortstop that has short, choppy steps when getting into fielding position. He fields the ball with two hands well and throws with a short arm action across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He has tall and fall back leg mechanics and has the tendency to land offline. He throws with a short and compact arm action, similar to the one he used on the infield. Right-handed hitter that starts open with higher hands and a low back elbow. He has a longer swing and is rotational with his body. He could add power by being more directional and utilizing his lower half in his swing more. Good student.
