Trey Fenderson is a 2022 SS/2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Spanish Fort, AL who attends Spanish Fort. Recorded a 7.37 second 60 yard dash time. Long and slender build with room to fill. Primary middle infielder with a short arm action and quick release. Moves well laterally and shows smooth footwork. Athletic movements with soft hands, throws from multiple slots. Right-handed hitter with a big hanging leg lift trigger and low hand set. Shows quality bat speed and line drive path. High intent swings, leg lift timing can be inconsistent at times. Looked better and picked up a couple of hard hits in the games when he simplified his swing. Highly projectable prospect with quality skills and obvious athleticism. Excellent student. Named to the 2020 Fall Academic Top Prospect Team.
