Vincenzo Chiavettone is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Leland. showed good speed with. 6.82 second sixty. Primary short stop with medium athletic build. Showed a level of comfort on each play on the infield moving through the ball well and flashing some smooth hands as he brings the ball in. Showed good arm strength across the diamond with the ability to change his slot on the throws. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow with an open stance, using a moderate leg lift to get back to even. Showed good feel for the barrel staying back up the middle and using the big part of the field with some jump of the bat and low effort to the swing. Good student. Named to the 2022 Northern California Workout Top Prospect List.
