2022 13U/14U Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Ryan Noll is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Germantown, MD who attends Undecided. Well-proportioned, stronger looking frame with room to fill out. Recorded a 8.06 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from an exaggerated side-saddled stance and showed a developing defensive skill set. Gained ground towards his target with uphill movements, a direct mid-line transfer and shorter arm action to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 72 mph from behind the plate during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a slightly higher leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Incorporates strong lower half to generate torque and displayed projectable arm speed. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s throughout his outing and topped out at 78 mph from a shorter three-quarters arm action. Strike thrower that sequences his three-pitch mix well, mixed in promising curveball that flashed good vertical depth and replicated changeup with some fade. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments. Took part in the infield portion of the defensive workout, where he showed deliberate footwork and the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, narrow stance with an exaggerated high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to generate bat speed, displayed middle-of-the field impact and tons of strength in his hands. Showcased projectable gap-to-gap power potential with carry and backspin. Strong, physical prospect with some two-way upside and offensive prowess, will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and maturity.
