Bryce Jarvis is a 2017 RHP/SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Brentwood Academy. Lean and lanky young build, lots of room to get stronger. Deep arm action in back coming around to an over the top release slot, leans body back to get his arm through. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle. Change up is his best pitch, has good feel for it and throws it with confidence and purpose. Short breaking slider flashed some downward bite when he got on top of it. Threw strikes with all pitches. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Duke.
