Dylan Kassab is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Hinsdale, IL, who attends Hinsdale Central. A good body with a bigger frame and build, showing strength throughout. Projectable frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. A primary catcher with smooth actions behind the dish, staying low in the crouch and working through the motions well. He has quick hands with strong throws down to second that carried real well. He was accurate around the bag. Moved well, gaining ground with a shorter release. Had some arm speed to throw 78 mph down to second and produce a 1.92 pop time. The actions behind the dish were strong in-game as well. Good makeup to call pitches and make adjustments in at-bats working with pitchers. Heads-up backstop. A right-handed hitter who had an even base with slightly open feet. He showed quick hands with a compact stroke. He worked to contact on-plane, hammering pitches during his round of BP swings. He turns the hips well and looks to do pull-side damage with lots of strength. Showed the ability to lift. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Projectable actions in the box. Exceptional student. Named to 2024 Chicago Indoor Showcase TP List.
