Kansas City World Series Scout Notes

Zach Van Hook (2026, LHP/OF, Des Peres, MO) is an athletic baseball player with lots of potential moving forward in his career.  Van Hook uses his lower half to torque his swing in a positive way, forming a lot of power at time of contact.  He has a line drive approach with a good bat angle to maximize lift on barreled balls.  Van Hook collected nine base hits during the tournament.  He drove in eight runs and scored 7 more.
