Midwest Labor Day Scout Notes

Brady Dill (2026, Palo, Iowa) used a small toe tap to start the swing with a quiet upper half before hands ripped through the zone. Dill had an outstanding 4-for-4 day while adding on a triple and two RBI for Iowa Select Vitense. He shows good speed and feel on the bases, collecting two steals and coming home to score twice. As his 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame matures the power should emerge more consistently with an uphill plane and good bat speed on his swing. He shows good intent on swings remaining disciplined in his approach but also maximizing his frame to send the ball as far as possible. Dill showed solid defensive skills behind the plate.
