Beau Peterson (2026, Shawnee, Kan.) put together one of the more impressive tournament performances you’ll see this past weekend. Finished tied for a tournament-high with eight base hits, four of which went for extra bases. Shows advanced strike zone recognition at the plate and a feel for what pitches he can do damage with. Showed plenty of ability behind the plate at well, showing fundamental blocking skills and a quick pop with arm strength to throw out a would-be base stealer at second base. Also struck out eight over six innings on the mound, helping to pitch his team into the championship game on Sunday. Up to 89 with the fastball while mixing in a breaking ball and changeup while filling up the strike zone. A big-time impact player that can impact a game in a variety of ways. Committed to the University of Nebraska.
