Cameron Johnson (2023, Upper Marlboro, Md.) is an LSU commit with an electric arm from the left side. Threw three no-hit innings while striking out 8-of-9 batters and picking off the only baserunner at first. Cameron uses his size and strength to leverage a fastball that sits around 94/95 mph while topping out at 97 mph. Good two-pitch mix with a power slider in the 79/80 mph range that is tough for hitters to lay off. Slider shows good tilt and depth out of the lower three-quarter arm slot. Very high ceiling and potential high MLB Draft pick.
