BCS Qualifier Scout Notes: Day 1

Nicholas Curbelo (2025, Parrish, Fla.) commanded well with the fastball which featured a good amount of arm-side run, the fast ball worked in the mid-80s and topped at 85 mph. Curbelo also displayed a 12-6 curveball that worked well towards the bottom of the zone. Just started pitching a year ago, and looks to show growth as he continues using this pitch mix. Curbelo also hit in the five slot driving in two RBI off of two hits. Plenty to like about Curbelo being a two-way option, improving his stock as a player as he continues.
