What Happened: The two top teams in the Southern Conference clashed in Macon, Ga., having both swept their first two conference weekend series of the year heading into the weekend. Both ranked right outside our Top 25 at the beginning of the week, Wofford would take the first two games of the series, outscoring Mercer 22-7, before falling in the series finale on Sunday 12-10. The Terriers' third conference weekend win in a row helped them continue to earn consideration into this week’s Top 25, yet they are still on the outside looking in.
