Nicholas Nin is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-5 230 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends Monarch. Extra big and strong build, pretty mature physically. Simple leg raise and turn delivery, keeps his mechanics simple and repeatable, clean arm swing in back and on time out front on release. Worked mostly with a low 80's fastball that topped out at 83 mph, has been up to 85 mph at past PG events, works his fastball around the zone with occasional running action. Mixed in an occasional 67 mph curveball, will need to develop his secondary pitches more for the next level. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short leg lift trigger, upper body swing with a pull side approach, swings hard and is aggressive. Plays first base when not on the mound, 8.09 runner in the sixty. Good student.
