Sebastian Martinez is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Olympia. Large frame with some strength to his build. Ran a 7.74 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the baseball with a firm glove that will continue to improve with reps, low effort actions behind the plate with an online release into throw downs, comes out of his crouch creating arm strength with a longer release, gets on top of throws that topped out at 79 mph from behind the dish, 2.07 second best pop time. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance, hands move at load and will get off with timing at times, when on time he creates good bat speed and loud barreled contact, positive launch angle and a feel for the barrel, strength at impact, middle of the field to pull side approach with some juice, projects really well in the batter's box.
