Will Walsh is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Leawood, KS who attends Rockhurst HS. Very good young pitcher's build, projects well physically. Big leg raise delivery with good direction to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot and gets good angle to his pitches. Works primarily with his fastball and fills up the zone with strikes, misses low when he misses, works quickly and is aggressive. Slider tends to be from a lower slot and still developing feel for the pitch. Switch-hitter with the same approach from both sides of the plate, short and strong line drive swing, will get too inside the ball at times left handed but gets the barrel through well on the right side, has hitting tools to develop as a potential two-way prospect. 7.28 runner, has athletic actions at first base with lateral range and live bodied actions. Good student.
