Philip Hunter is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Woodbridge, VA who attends Woodbridge HS. Recorded a 7.42 second 60-yard dash time. Tall and lean frame with a lot of room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Mid chest hand set with a higher leg swing and a quick arm stroke. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with good life and showed good sink. Firmer breaking ball that he mixed in. Loads hard onto back leg and generates really nice downhill action. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with an even and slightly open stance. Lower hand set with a small leg lift trigger. Flat barrel path and shows good accuracy with the barrel. Shows some bat speed and generates strength through extension.
