Tony Espinosa is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Tulare, CA who attends California Connections Academy. Medium high waisted build. Very good runner, 6.61 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, speed really plays here, showed big game range going into the gaps chasing down balls, is aggressive in his reads and routes, has a short and compact arm action and makes accurate on line throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a big shift into contact, has a short swing with tight hands through the zone, timing intensive swing at present. Good student.
