Andreas Nilsen is a 2023 1B/C, 3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Trabuco Canyon, CA who attends Mission Viejo. Has some strength within frame.. Flashed intriguing defensive traits at first base. Solid glove action with the ability to work through the ball well. Improving fluidity throughout the fielding process will help set body up for strong throws. Smooth, easy swing with natural loft. Even base with a small stride timing mechanism. Transfer weight to the backside well. Flashes some pullside power. Getting the barrel through the zone on time will be key to utilizing it more consistently. Good student, as well.
