Jack Galanida is a 2023 RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Encino, CA who attends Crespi Carmelite. Medium frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.14 seconds. Right handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, has an easy low effort delivery with a slight claw at the bottom of his arm swing. The fastball sat 72-79 mph with slight arm side run and occasionally has decent glove side cut. Worked quickly, attacked the batters and threw a lot of strikes. Worked a curveball slider mix, the curveball sat 61-66 mph with sharp downward break freezing a lot of hitters. Flashed the slider sat 67-69 mph, with good sweeping actions. Pitched with intensity and was confiednt in his pitches. Good student.
