Tommy Van Daff is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Elmhurst, IL who attends York Comm. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 in 7.71 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, works from stretch, collapsed into backside then drives downhill, compact 3/4 slot, fastball worked 74-77 mph with sink, showed loose 1/7-shaped curveball. Wide spread stance at the plate, cocks hands deep into low bar, lengthy stroke with inside hand path, developing barrel accuracy skills. Very good student.
