Jonathan Phillips is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-1 158 lb. frame from Hernando, MS who attends Hernando. Tall and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.75 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball with solid fundamental actions, arm works well and throws were accurate with some carry, arm strength will continue to improve as he adds physical maturity. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open stance with a late hand hitch load, clears his lower half well and gets rotated, creates some bat speed with more to come, will pull off early at times with his head and front side. Took at turn on the mound, full arm circle to an over the top arm slot, will fall off and land open at times. Fastball was up to 72 mph and mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.
