Sean Smith is a 2024 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Hits from balanced and slightly open stance, high hands and back elbow, inside-out swing plane with uphill finish, flashes contact skills, will improve with physical development. Worked out in the outfield, turns to the side, hesitant footwork coming in, fields close to body, clocked up to 63 mph on throws. Also pitched, inverted arm stroke with deep offline elbow spiral, compact high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 60-65 mph, worked only with fastballs in this outing. Very good student.
