Ian Brown is a 2026 RHP/OF, IF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union. Recorded a 7.56 second 60-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and slender build. High hands start that remain high until break at apex during delivery. Slight pause before getting down the slope that adds deception to his delivery with a balanced operation. Fastball control up to 73 mph and crafty enough with deception and 12/6 curveball in the low-60s. Direct line to the plate with poise and competitive nature on the bump. Good athlete that needs some maturing to find the higher levels. Athleticism translates to the outfield with a solid one-hand gather to the side with a loner arm swing behind on throws to the bases at 74 mph. Lower arm-slot on throws across the diamond from shortstop with clean fielding actions. Fundamental athlete with actions to play multiple positions on the field with second base profile on the dirt. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and heel-raise load trigger. Direct path to the ball with some strength in hands to impact for the age and size. Should be able to add more impact to the pull side with longer extension out front as he matures into his frame.
