Jared Harmon is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-9 166 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Cardinal Hayes. Compact yet athletic overall build with quickness to his actions. Primary position RHP using an offset start and working from the 1B side of the rubber. Small sidestep leads him to a medium leg lift with an inward turn of the torso when at balance. Separating his hands high at the chest, he works his arm path below his back hip and inline with body before loading at the top. Maintains good posture in transition down the slope and works well through his front side at release. His FB sat 74-76 and peaked at 77 mph with natural cutting action. His best secondary offering is a CH with quality deception and arm side run. Other off-speed pitch was a low-60's CB with depth and effectiveness to RHH/LHH alike. Very good student.
