Diego Polanco is a 2024 OF/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Teurlings Catholic. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and athletic build. Works through the ball in the outfield with fundamental footwork and clean one-hand gather to exchange. Accurate throws to the bases with inline momentum from a higher arm-slot release. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and high hands setup in the box. Short heel-lift trigger stride with high back elbow slot. Works downhill with his swing path and impact through the middle and opposite field with compact stroke. Excellent student.
