Gabriel Armenta is a 2027 1B/RHP/C with a 5-9 166 lb. frame from Copperas Cove, TX who attends Copperas Cove. Medium build with long, loose limbs that can continue to fill out with maturity. Ran a 9.07 in the sixty. Infielder, showed good fundamentals and has an idea in his process. Accurate arm to the bag with developing strength behind his throws. Works to bag well. Right-handed pitcher, big high leg kick in his windup into a higher three-quarter slot. Rocker step into release point. Fastball has a bit of cutting action and commanded to all quadrants. Broke off a developing curve with 11-5 shape. Flashed a firmer changeup, as well. Has a bit of feel for all three, worked well. Left-handed hitter, wide base and high hand set with high back elbow. Releases barrel late with developing strength. Improved as round progressed and shows flashes.
