Angel Deaza is a 2023 1B/ with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Elizabeth, NJ who attends Elizabeth. Medium frame with present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.49-second sixty-yard dash. Primary first basemen, plays lows and moves well around the bag. Fields out out in front into a clean fielding funnel. Accurate thows to bases, up to 75 mph from and over the top arm slot. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Lofted stroke, gets extended at the point of contact. Pull side approach with some impact through the middle of the field. A loose swing that could use some refinement to make more consistent solid contact. Good student.
