Jaxon Clayton is a 2025 RHP/IF with a 6-1 186 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield Central. Large lean high waisted frame with athletic legs and strong physique. Hybrid style windup with rock step into a core high lift. Good sink into the lower half. Obvious athlete, explosive . Loose quick arm with three-quarters release. Fastball command improved as the outing progressed, turbo sink gets to the bottom of the barrel, getting on the hands as well. Slider can be spun in any count. Tight sharp two plane action. Shows feel to land and bury for a late count whiff. changeup is serviceable, good given the velocity. Lively stuff that should continue to improve as the command and feel for the whole arsenal grows. Held velocity well throughout. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
