Luke Ehlinger is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Elm Grove, WI who attends Brookfield East. Recorded an 8.13 second 60 yard dash time. Primary shortstop with short and choppy steps to approach, shows developing foot speed. Lets the ball get deep and close to the body to field, high effort thrower with a long arm action and gather, recorded throws across the infield at 67 mph. Developing arm strength and limited feel for the glove at present. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and stiff stance. Small stride forward with limited load/weight shift or lower half drive. Developing bat speed and short swing path, was able to find the barrel during his round. Impact potential will improve as he fires the hips and uses the lower half more actively throughout the swing.
