Richard Morales is a 2021 RHP/2B/SS with a 5-10 131 lb. frame from Lorain, OH who attends Lorain High School. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Smooth delivery mechanics on the mound, arm is loose and easy coming throw, has good direction to the plate and repeats his mechanics well. Worked in the mid-70's with his fastball, topped out at 77 mph, gets good arm side life and has consistent life on his pitches, has the ability to work both sides of the plate with intent. Slider was also throw for strikes with some sweeping life. Polished senior pitcher who just lacks strength from taking the next step. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight and narrow stance with a big barrel wrap to start his swing, slashing downhill swing plane. 8.06 runner in the sixty. Plays the infield when not pitching.
