Sawyer Haynes is a 2024 SS/2B, MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Waco, TX who attends Midway. Primary short stop with a solid frame to build on showing some athleticism to the build. Ran a 7.03 secondHands work on the infield as he times every thing up with solid footwork making his way to the right side of the baseball. Takes his time on the gather while gaining ground and making accurate throws from multiple arm slots. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance and high hand set. Creates separation with the land and stride before firing the hands on plane with a more level path creating linear contact to the middle of the field at his best when he gets to extension out front like he did in his final at bat. Excellent student.
