Brandon Hanley is a 2022 C/ with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Huntley, IL who attends Huntley High School. Recorded a 7.56 second 60 yard dash time. Primary catcher with quick feet, gains good ground towards second base and stays low throughout the process. Explosive out of the chute, quick transfer and high release, recorded a 1.94 second pop time at 76 mph. Nice round overall, looked good receiving high velocity in games and showed solid blocking skills. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and athletic stance. Knee to knee stride with a high finish, gets over his front foot at times. Good balance and extension, takes his hands to the ball with a direct bat path and stays directional with his body. Produced solid and consistent contact, sat back on a first pitch breaker in the game and drove it to the opposite field gap. Great student.
