Jaylen Frank is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Sacramento, CA who attends Elk Grove. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues. to develop, posted a 7.04 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder, moves very well and can cover a ton of territory in a hurry. Fields out in front and still has room to add fluidity to his throwing motion. Violent actions through the baseball, good aggressive reads off the bat. Arm strength will continue to develop nicely alongside his build. On the mound, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball up to 76 mph, locates it well in the bottom of the zone. Also mixes in a 12-to-6 curveball fro strikes. At the plate, uses an upright and wider stance that stays pretty simple throughout. Uphill barrel plane through the zone, high back elbow works hard to get into the slot on time. Good pull side pop when on time with the baseball.
