Lonzy Robinson is a 2023 2B/ with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Jackson, MI who attends Northwest. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, relaxed set, leg lift trigger, leg hangs up and lands with front hip open, gets barrel out on flat path, flashes of good bat speed, shows contact skills with whole field approach, stays committed to the middle of the diamond. Worked out in the infield, waits back on the ball, halts momentum to field, hands work, full several step load-up into throws across the diamond, non-game actions, clocked up to 74 mph on throws across. Very good student.
