Stephen Lombardo is a 2022 C/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Glenview, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Has a smaller frame with a lean build that will fill out with maturity. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, he starts with a low setup and comes through a longer transfer with a quick release from his ear, and gains good ground through his throw. Also threw from the outfield, touching 84 mph on the gun with some zip to it. Pitched as well, with a long and loose arm action from a three-quarters slow. He lands online with good extension toward the plate, showed decent control throughout his outing. Mixed in a CB at 69 with 11/5 shape. At the plate, Lombardo starts with his hands away from his body and uses a quick leg kick and quick hands, finding plenty of barrels when he is on time. Excellent student.
