Maxwell Hammer is a 2026 3B/RHP/C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Extra big and strong young build. Two-way prospect who is a primary third baseman at present but who might end up on the mound. Has a tall delivery with a medium length arm circle and a high 3/4's arm slot, arm is quick coming through, still learning to sync up his upper and lower halves in his delivery. Fastball worked up to 73 mph, tends to work up in the zone with his current mechanics. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an aggressive power oriented swing approach, tends to collapse his back side in his swing, swings hard and has some bat speed and strength at contact. 8.26 runner in the sixty. Arm plays well in the infield with third base tools and skills, showed some softness to his hands on ground balls. Very good student.
