Camryn Peden is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Athens, AL who attends Elkmont. He ran a7.94 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a medium physical frame, showing present strength in the build. On the mound he starts with a slow methodical delivery, the arm action is short in the back stroke working a bit cross body to the plate with a tight release, the fastball sat 74-78 mph with control to both half of the plate, he also worked in a curveball in the upper 60's with average depth . In the infield he waits back in the ball playing the hop, his arm action is stiff in the back stroke causing some inaccurate throws with developing arm strength across the diamond. From the right side of the plate he starts with a wide based high hand set by the ears, he has some strength in the hands coming through the hitting zone with a steep barrel and high finish, could produce more power by getting his weight transferred into contact a bit more.
